I have a good collection of cookbooks that I'm in the process of digitizing in order to use on my tablet. I love having physical media around, but the tablet is just much more convenient.

I unironically like having shelves of cookbooks I only use a handful of recipes from.

Physical, it's a fag to try and read shit on your phone in the kitchen; it never fits all on the screen at once, it might lock or dim the screen cos you haven't touched it in a while (and you may not want to touch it because of dirty hands), and it might get broken if it get splashed with something.

If I'm going to make something different I check if Chef John from Fooooood Wishes Dot Com has made a recipe for it yet and follow this recipe if he did.
