Local chain to Houston called Kelley's Country Cookin, your typical diner type place. The portions are huge, they have a 1lb hamburger, pancakes and potatoes as big as your head, etc
Used to be cheap too, now just moderately priced

It's still weird for me to think about, but good ol' Joe's in Greenwich Village now has a handful of locations around the city.

They're not consistent, I'm afraid. The one in FiDi isn't as good as the OG on Carmine Street but it's still way better than some average slice shop.

Happy Joe's has been a fixture since my childhood, and although the pizza is crazy expensive now, I'm glad it hasn't changed.

I was a big fan when I lived in the area. The massive baked potato with the fried chicken and gravy on top is peak heart attack food.

This place was awesome. Great exterior and interior theming and good food. Went for breakfast with friends weeks before they closed down and the owner gave us free mimosas with our meals.

Sadly after it was closed it got bought up and turned into a new age mexibar. Quite soulless in comparison.

damn I miss Jerrys.
Slam down cheesesteak with some of those wedges. Kino weekend

Ledos pizza is also another delmarva area chain. They're also pretty bangin'

We just got a Ledo in Manhattan, I tried it a while ago. Interesting pizza, kind of a pastry-type crust and very sweet sauce. Something I'd need to be in the mood for specifically, but I enjoyed the pepperoni one. The Thai chicken pizza or whatever it was didn't impress me, though.
