Easy to make, tasty, endlessly variable.
But a lot of carbs if you care about that.
What's there to say more.

I like to add a tablespoon of wheat germ and a tablespoon of ground flax seeds for added omega 3, copper, zinc, and magnesium.
I also like making my oats with almond milk.

Manages to be cheap, tasty, and healthy. Kind of a god tier food honestly. It's the easiest way to get plenty of soluble fiber without taking supplements.

savory, overcooked oatmeal, with water instead of milk, and with salt and oil and melted cheese, along with other savory ingredients like ham, is the best way into oats. Don't knock it till you try it.

slave gruel that contains ass loads of fiber, antiNOOOOTRIents like Phytate and Lectins that inhibit vitamin and mineral absorption

there is near no reason to eat oats, animal products have better nutrients
carb sources you have better refined ones like white rice or potatoes

in high amounts will give you gas and diarrhea all day and you will be shitting non stop

about it

Quick oats are just as good as stove top oats, but don't fall for the minute oats in the packets with the flavorings. 3 minute oats, toss some in a bowl with water and a dash of salt and microwave for 90 seconds. Perfect every time. Throw some milk in there, or yogurt and fruit. up to you. ez and moderately healthy breakfast

Yes, but grits have more of a sticky, vomity texture to them. Oats are not nearly as goopy.

Cook it al dente and eat it as a savory, not a sweet. Put hot sauce, pepper, salt, olive oil, soy sauce, whatever you want to make it tasty.

There's no point in eating any kind other than instant oats, unless you like wasting time chewing you could be using to hustle. It has the exact same amount of nutrients and fiber.

My grandma is exactly like this. I remember as a kid going through her pantry and I opened a jar of pistachios with more cobwebs than nuts. A few years ago I found a jar of mayo in her fridge that was like 4 years past the sell by date.

>carbs which is totally useless calories
yeah sure, I'll just eat 5 pounds of chicken breast in the morning before my 8 hour shift in a warehouse busting my ass. all those "useless" calories from carbs aren't helpful according to some retard on 4chan
