can confirm. i recently started cooking and doing my first few meals was like "wtf i just spent $60 for ingredients for one dish that I'm about to spend 4 hours of my day making only for it to turn out lowkey ass" but I've been getting faster and each time i shop i need to buy less stuff because for example, you only need to buy a bottle of some spice once and then it's good for many dishes. like for last night i just bought some chicken breasts and some mushrooms and that's it, already had everything else.
