Where exactly does poop come from? Is it already IN the food we eat, or is it something like boogers that our body produces on its own?

I usually get it from the store.

Poo is what is left of your food after you subtract most of the nutrients. So yes, if you want to view it like that the poop is IN your food.

boogers are stuff you breathe in mixed with mucus your body oozes out
poop is a mixture of food and bile which your tummy squirts on it to make it brown and sticky then it gets all squished in your intestines into sausages or whatever it depends on your diet
so yeah poop is already in the food but it's also kinda a combo
