Salmon is more consistently good. The only actually good tuna i had was in Sweden and Italy of all places. But in Washington salmon is better

depends, I have superior Tuna rolls but normally the raw salmon reigns supreme on average.
Cooked salmon and "Hot smoked" salmon is gross

Hot smoked salmon is great as long as it's smoked with oak and juniper. But otherwise vastly inferior to cold smoked or raw salmon

Unless you have really good tuna, it has a bit of a metallic taste. Salmon is consistently better.

I've had fresh tuna in Nippon (that's "Japan" in Japanese) and it has nothing on godlike Norwegian factory farmed salmon.

Canned salmon was always bad n overpriced .Canned tuna is mostly good,with expensive Albacore being actually mid since it tastes like the blandest chicken breast & they don't season the canned Albacore .not the ones i found in cans .

that's exactly the opposite.
the only good cooked tuna recipe is when you just give it a quick sear on the outside. the inside should remain basically raw, otherwise it becomes stringy

wild salmon ---> too lean
farmed salmon ---> better texture, but it often tastes like pond
raw tuna is more consistently enjoyable.
smoked/cured salmon is a different thing

Overcooked garbage. Seared tuna should still be deep red in the center and cold to the touch.
