Humans have a natural preference for salty snacks due to a combination of biological and evolutionary factors. Salt is essential for bodily functions, and our brains are wired to seek it out. Additionally, salt enhances the flavor of food, making it more appealing.

Op here, my fridge / freezer is close to 40 years old. For some reason the freezer has a funk in it I cant get rid of and any ice I make in it or put in it picks up that funk. So I get bags of ice put into a cooler and soda as a special treat once in a while.

Clean it out with a little bleach and water, rub it and dry it out...put 2 boxes of Arm and Hammer baking soda in it opened up for a couple days. Wa la no stank.
