"Bavarian" as in "a restaurant in Bavaria" or "an american Tex-Kraut establishment"?

Pretzels, Weisswurst, Schweinshaxe hopefully. They will probably also have Currywurst and Schnitzel.

You need to be more specific. In the USA there are authentic German restaurants where you can get serious Bavarian food and you might even find that your waitress is a native German speaker.

There are also retarded novelty "German" restaurants where whores wearing Halloween costume dirndls sing stupid songs as you chug 2L mugs of St. Pauli Girl.

Then there are simply bland novelty German-American restaurants, like the USA Hofbrauhaus chain. I've never been, but look at the menu, it has about 75% in common with a TGI Fridays.
