How does /ck/ cook theirs? I've always boiled them, but I'm wondering is grilling the way to go?

if you boil them, peel them first. Grilling is ok to leave the skins on.

you can bake them whole.
>wash in cold water until clean
>pat dry, apply olive oil, salt, pepper, italian seasoning mix or constituent separate components
>put in over preheated to 400f
>check after 20 minutes, internal temperature 145f or higher. cook longer if needed
>serve with mashed/roasted potatoes and some kind of salad

it's an easy work night meal. i keep a container of fresh garloids in the fridge at all times.

low and slow is the only way imo. ive tried cherry, hickory, live oak, and post oak for garloid and found live oak to be my favorite.
