I've never had a bad steak at Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn. Were they the BEST steaks I've ever had? No, but they were cooked properly and not overpriced.

feels like such a waste spending $80 on a steak at a nice restaurant when I can spend $80 on a pack of five steaks at costco and make it for myself five times
If I go to a nice steakhouse I'd rather get something that would be a pain to make myself, like a short rib roast or prime rib french dip
