10 dollars for 2 small-medium salmon fillets at walmart. They were simple and delicious. Pan fried for a few minutes on each side with a little seasoning and lemon juice. But 5 dollars for a fraction of a meal is crazy (1 fillet per night). Eating healthy is a fucking scam

How much did the fillets weigh? Cuz salmon is $7/lb at hmart but $16/lb (sold as 5oz portions for $5 each) at Safeway lmao
We but monkfish whenever it's on sale there. It's $3/lb. Mackerel is $2/lb. Pilchards are $2-3/lb. Octopus is $7/lb. Squid is $4/lb. Live lobster is $10/lb. Etc etc etc
You can tell I eat a lot of fish.

>omg why is salmon expensive!?!?
you don’t need to eat salmon to be healthy. chicken is the poor man’s meat.

You need to eat ~75g of fatty fish per day though, if you don't want to lose cognitive function. Then again...

Here's 8 for $15.

But I mean, you could literally get the same thing from canned tuna or sardines. Or many other lean proteins.

One of those will cost you $30 at a restaurant. What's your point?

Or you could buy frozen salmon filets at Walmart for $6/lb. Better value.
