Lewis Kitchener Dahl salt study on rats in 1962 fed his rats the equivalent of a human eating 280g of salt a day. Lewis was repulsed by people who added salt to their food, and thought that food never needed salt. Because of this his studies are suspect. Every study since then has been contradictory or often biased.
supposedly eating salt gives you high blood pressure. but if you have unusually low blood pressure, eating lots of salt WILL NOT raise your blood pressure.
salt isn't poison, you need it to live.
