Its literally the employee meme of "you'll try everything except paying me more" but in the case of a consumer "you'll try literally everything except pricing your shitty food correctly". Your boss would rather pay you some trivial amount of money instead of lowering menu prices. A little hollywood math and they can post a profit next quarter, collect their bonus and go do some abhorrent shit while stores close down due to lack of customers or interest in the lastest gimmick meal.

I stopped going to Taco Bell after every location was replaced by indians. They're in the same boat as Subway. I'd be really freaking out if I worked marketing or corporate for these restaurants they're just nuking their brand name into the ground.

The cheese doesn't contain enough dairy to legally be considered cheese by the USDA
The chicken isn't 100% chicken.
The vegetables are always contaminated because they just leave it in the unwashed tubs.
Employees regularly handle the cash register and make sandwiches. Nothing like some dirty register and money touching your food.
Theres nothing special about the ingredients even if there were real; its cold cuts, faux chicken, canned meatballs, and roast beef worse than Arbys.

Thats what everyone else who eats is arguing about. Subway isn't good, prices notwithstanding.

When I saw this thread I immediately rushed down to my local Wendy's restaurant and ordered the new Takis meal.
Overall assessment: not bad. I still like the regular spicy chicken sandwich better. Still better than the last one they had with the spicy mustard.
I really liked the Takis fries.

worked pretty well. I didn't think I would like the corn on the sandwich but it was surprisingly good. I feel like it needed something else though. it was just the chicken with the sauce and nothing really else. usually their sandwiches have lettuce or something to give them a little extra crunch.
