Ideas for a raw dessert?
I'm craving desserts really badly and plan on just doing it in the simplest way possible. That means just mixing butter, eggs, honey and perhaps a banana or alternatively apple. Do you think it will end well, should I change something?

It sounds like it will turn into some sort of soft pudding. Consider adding a bit of flour?

I thought a banana would be enough? I want to use only natural ingredients because everything else is affecting me negatively.
>>21412869
I want it to be fresh and with these specific ingredients. Also I can add coconut oil.
>>21412870
I want it to be more like a dessert and fresh.

What in that smoothie recipe is not dessert-like or fresh? Please improve your vocabulary, or at the very least go further in depth regarding your dessert-related desires.

Then just use frozen yogurt instead - it makes the smoothie into a pseudo-milkshake without using ice cream. If you're not opposed to ice cream or want to make it yourself (it's super easy) then you can use that instead of yogurt

Do you have cream cheese or mascarpone? If so just mix some with powdered sugar and then eat it with cookies (maybe add a little jam as well).

Or a banana, honey, and peanut butter sandwich

Make a smoothie, sorbet, or shake as outlined before. Either that or just have the fruit as is.
Why are you so averse to cooking or "everything else" anyway? You're severely restricting yourself for no legitimate reason. Are you autistic? Are you participating in a cooking contest?

>Because it's less healthy.
The reasons humans became the dominant species is because we discovered fire and cooking, allowing much more efficient digestion, which unlocked a significant caloric surplus beyond just the bare minimum required for survival. This allowed the brain, a very energy intensive organ, to grow much bigger and thus adaptability and intelligence improved and that's how we were able to invent the internet.

>allowing much more efficient digestion
So destroying the nutrients, enzymes(that actually help with digestion) and adding carcinogens to your food makes it easier to digest, that makes no sense.

cooking is a form of pre-digestion. starch is pretty hard to digest without cooking, and a lot of foods aren't safe at all when raw like kidney beans.

Is there anything wrong with that? When I look up the recipes for cheesecake the cream cheese is the main ingredient so I want to replace it with butter and will just add more eggs and honey to compensate for that.

Many years ago, I went to this vegan/lacto-vegetarian restaurant owned by the ISKCon with this girl who had me try a bit of her dessert, a raw, vegan cheesecake. ngl, raw or not, it was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. Do that. Or just have a smoothie or milkshake.

Now raw but cobbler is really simple and easy or u could fry some bananas with sugar and put it on ice cream
Also just some ricotta with chocolate chips works for me in a pinch and its not too bad for u either

Or fresh yoghurt and frozen fruit. That's how I make my smoothies. Full fat yoghurt, a little water, frozen fruit, a little sweetener (sugar, honey etc) and blitz smooth. I've done this with bananas, berries of various sorts, peaches, mangos and more.
>>21412840 (OP)
Peel and freeze the bananas and do what I've written above. Omit the eggs and butter. That's stupid. Instead of having it as a smoothie, tip it out into a bowl and place it in the freezer after blending. As it sits there, cut up your apple and dress it in water acidulated with lemon juice. Deseed a pomegranate.
Shell and chop some very, VERY fresh, good quality raw walnuts or pecans. I prefer pecans for their taste but walnuts for their crunch so I would recommend a mix of both.
Finally, get a green fruit you like. Peeled kiwifruit if you want to go more tropical and sweet, honeydew if you want to go more temperate and with additional crispness beyond what the apple provides, gooseberry if you can get some or simple peeled muscat grapes. Prepare them as necessary (slice for kiwi, ball for honeydew, halve for gooseberry and nothing but the rinse you should be doing anyway for the grapes.
Assemble your smoothie bowl/s. Divide (or don't) the banana smoothie among your portions and top each with a little bit of each topping, apple, pomegranate arils, chopped nuts and the additional fruit.
Smoothie bowls were the "it" thing a decade+ ago so it may seem a little behind the trends if you're serving this to others.
Alternately, just make a Waldorf and add the bananas. Waldorf already has apple and raw egg (in the form of mayonnaise) in it.

Try kogel-mogel, just beat together two raw egg yolks and three tbsp of sugar. You can add flavoring like vanilla or chocolate if you wish

What would happen if I mix in a blender around one hundred grams of butter, ten eggs, at least four tablespoons of honey and one or two bananas? Would it have a good consistency or it will still be a drinkable mess.

Actually, another just popped into my head if you're not averse to using one canned ingredient, one boxed ingredient and boiling water. It will use up the butter but not the egg but you can use the yolk to make a vanilla zabaglione.
Get a box of instant apple gelatin and a tin of evaporated milk (no, not sweetened condensed milk). Tip out the packet of gelatin into the blender over a stick of butter. Boil the water and add half of the necessary volume of liquid the gelatin packet says to use. Run the blender, melting the butter, and pour in the milk as it runs. Tip out into a trifle glass and place in the fridge. When starting to set up, carefully the fruit on top or gently push it into the foam (blending gelatin, butter and evapomilk will create a mousse-like texture) and allow it to set the rest of the way.
For the zabaglione, whip the yolk with vanilla sugar and, while still whipping, add hot milk a little at a time until thick.
I only say to use flavoured instant gelatin because plain instant is almost always agar rather than actual gelatin. I don't know if agar will mousse up like gelatin does

Thanks for the effort but want to keep them as they are though realized that I can use boiled, fresh white rice if you think there's a way to do that since it has a firmer consistency?
Anonymous No.21413267 [Report]

Haven't a clue. My guess is that the filling was almost certainly based on soaked, blended raw cashew or peanut. They both thicken when fridged. The only other possibility I can fathom is that they thickened the soaked cashew-or-peanut blend with vegan yoghurt culture and fermented it or they simply used chia or golden flax as a setting agent (or both fermenting and chia/flax).
This video I watched a while ago makes vegan peanut yoghurt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFCa5uZxb5s

Despite my small bit of knowledge here, I am not vegan or even vegetarian but I appreciate what foods are created out of dietary limitations. I think they're neat.

Avocado, cocoa powder and banana to make a thick mousse like concoction.

Stuff dates with peanut butter or toasted nuts, dip in melted chocolate and freeze.

Cut a good ripe pear and microwave until it has the consistency of a compote. Add a few drops of naturally brewed soy sauce. Or let the pear cool down completely and refrigerate until very cold. Sprinkle with a little ground clove.
