For me, it's Martinelli's. By far the best apple juices that are widely available. The only one that can maybe compare is Simply Apple.

It didn't used to be that much, but everything is inching up in price now because companies know their suppliers are going to raise prices because nobody knows what anything is going to cost in six months because the country is being run into the ground by a bunch of dangerously stupid kleptocrats.

While it didn't used to be that much, when other brands were $1-3, martinelli's would've been $4-5.

They've been the expensive option for the 30 years I've been buying them.

Yeah but it wasn't $10, that's the point, it was $5 now it's $10. The dollar is done for, buy Japanese or Eurozone government bonds.

My favourite apple juice brands are these two super exclusive ones called Ôn Salé and Managër's Speciæl. If you don't get them when they're available, you're SOL. Seriously, I bought some Mott's on managers special for 50¢ per 64oz bottle and it's perfectly serviceable. I doubt a brand with a 20× markup like Martinelli's would actually be even 5× better never mind 20× but you do you, boo. I'll stick to the cheap shit.

But it costs 20× more. I ain't bothering with that shit, bruh, but when I find in on managers special, I do indeed buy Martinelli's, ngl. My kid prefers this other brand I can't remember the name of. He says Mott's isn't as sweet. The other brand is geared towards children and has a happy face made of fruit on it. It's sold in bottles and in juice box packs. Know the one I'm talking about?

Higher quality products use higher quality ingredients. You're saving money now buying the cheapest slop but you'll be paying for it later when you fuck up your health from the cumulative effects of years of eating nearly expired bottom shelf garbage.

Being frugal is great but your health is the one area where you should never cut corners, and what you eat is at least 50% of everything that contributes to your health. Food has a huge and incredibly important effect on every aspect of your health.

How much are you realistically saving? The difference between spending $10 a day on food and $30 a day is the difference between fighting boomers over scraps of marker down garbage and eating quality, nutritious foods. And that's what, like $7k a year? That's a small price to pay in exchange for being healthy not just now but in the future. 40% of Americans will develop cancer at some point in their lives and food has a huge influence on things like cancer risk. Don't be a statistic.

look i'll happily pay for better juice, and I do. But I'm not doing it to be "healthier" or to avoid cancer, I'm doing it because i like the better juice taste and personally find the $$ worth that better taste.

Not everyone will have the same opinion, my enjoying more expensive juice in no way prevents them from enjoying cheaper juice.

It's not even that. This alarmist lady seems to think that whatever the cheap anons are buying are all expired or soon to be. Not everything in the manager's special section is. I routinely buy household staples like trash bags or TP from that section that gets marked down because the box/bag was slightly damaged. I have so much dishwasher detergent because some douchenozzle cut open the shipping box with a deep boxcutter, putting a barely-there gash into the detergent boxes themselves. I also get pantry staples and shelf stable stuff. I find pasta for cheap there all the time. 60 something cents for a pound of organic, unexpired pasta is a good deal. After holiday candies are sold for a song. For some reason, my local supermarket carries a lot of Jew shit despite never selling any of it so it all winds up in the discount section. Latke mix for a quarter. Falafel mix for fitty cent. Kosher-for-passover macaroons for 75¢. Can't beat that shit.
I bought some nooch a while ago for only 50¢, 90% off. It doesn't "expire" until summer 2026 (forgot the exact month). Why was it on clearance? No idea. I can only guess that it's unpopular in my area so they decided to cut their losses and free up some space. I've personally seen some cheap juices in that section but only bought one once, some 100% organic blueberry juice. I think I posted about it at the time with questions of what to do with it.
I don't remember how much it was, just that it was comparatively cheap for what it is and it doesn't expire until this December. I still haven't opened it but I think I'll use it at Thanksgiving to make blueberry cranberry sauce.
Oh, and lightbulbs. I bought a fucking case of long lasting LED lightbulbs for 19¢ per, iirc. I forget how many there were in there but I got them right after I bought my house so... 13 years ago. We've used five so far lmao
Manager's specials are great if you're not a retard.

Luckily for you and other non-poorfags, better taste tends to go along with better food.

>mfw this nigger trying to take the high road while admitting to buying something called "nooch"
Being a hoarder isn't something you should be bragging about. Just because your parents had tons of garbage they never used cluttering up the house because "it was such a good deal" that doesn't mean you have to follow in their footsteps.

>she doesn't know what nooch is
Way to keep your finger to the pulse, behind-the-times anon.
Also, no, my parents didn't keep anything much around and it's not hoarding if it actually gets used. It's just that those lightbulbs last forever and, excepting a pack for the fridge over the winter, we haven't had to buy any since I bought that case. The pasta, Jew shit and unmentioned dried fruit? Eaten. Still working through the nooch and candies since we don't eat much of either but I don't think Snickers expire for a very, very long time and since they're not even Superbowl branded (I don't know why this bag was discounted along with all the Superbowl Snickers), whatever's leftover by Halloween will be handed out, just like I did last Halloween with these cheap-ass Toblerones I got that summer. The detergent? Mostly used up (we've got two boxes left unopened and one opened one). I stocked up on toilet paper back in, like, 2015 or so, when there was some ridiculous sale. Didn't have to restock again until last year or two years ago, COVID be damned. When I noticed my favourite floss was winding up on clearance, I drove everywhere and bought all I could. This was around the same time as the toilet paper and thank fuck i did because it's been discontinued and I only recently found another floss brand I like nearly as much.
The "such a good deal" argument doesn't mean shit if the stuff isn't actually getting used. It's just as much a waste of money as buying things that aren't on sale or discount. I don't do that
