Probably. Lots of former contestants have posted online about it. They film several services for a week and cut it into 1 episode. They can make any contestant look good or bad in the final cut. So they can decide to kick off someone they don't like and cut the episode to only show them fucking up.
And they don't live in a dorm but a hotel room. The dorm scenes are 100% scripted. However they are also in voluntary captivity, 100% monitored and not allowed to have communications devices for several months during shooting and until the finale airs.
