what type of pan is that? doesn't scratching it like that create a bunch of metal shavings in the food?

scratching any pan dislodges microscopic amounts of particulate in your food but people that arent insane generally don't dwell on it

it looks like aluminum

Especially because those small amounts are inconsequential.
And if it's really that much of a bother people can simply use cat iron.

Oof. Cat iron? Might as well use carbon steel.
Personally, I prefer cast iron because the little metal filings give me an energy boost. The only way a pan could be more nutritious to eat is if it was made of iron, aluminum, and magnesium.
And don't try to tell me a magnesium pan won't get hot enough to cook food with.

Cast iron shouldn't leave much of any metal shavings due to the polymer seasoning, most likely you will only remove parts of that.

Is there a reason why I should perceive iron as detrimental to my health, justifying the use of seed oils to "season" my pan?
I don't know how "normal" people cook shit in a pan, but I use a thin layer of fat.

He's yet another one of the millions of wildly incompetent "chefs" that don't have the most basic instinctive understanding of material science. How hard would it be to pick up a wooden utensil for stirring in a metal container? Very easy, but people who aren't intelligent never even consider it.
Aden is a fat inheritance weeb who brings ketchup with him in his camera equipment bag anywhere he travels.

I never understood metal cookware, except knives and spatulas, they are more expensive, damage cookware and cant be left inside pots or near heat sources as theyll get really hot really fast.
Wood cookware all the way.
