What's your rice to water ratio? I use calrose/sushi rice.

1 cup rice, 2 cups water.
But for jasmine or other short grain rice, a little less.
1 cup rice, 1.5 cups water

do this with that or some other large cut of meat
>put a little oil on your meat, season it
>put your instant pot on sear
>all sides as best you can
>let meat rest on a plate
>put some broth in the pot and scrap all the browned bits off
>re-add meat
>cover in vegetables (onions, carrots, celery, whatever you like)
>add some butter, bouillon or a seasoning packet of your choice
>pressure cook for an hour
>enjoy tender meat
i also get a couple of silicon molds to put leftovers in, i'll throw one in the microwave and then add it to ramen noodles. can also just throw it together with some rice, or mix into eggs, you can do a lot with this stuff.

Make your own natto / tempeh.
It just needs to cook the beans some 45 minutes as opposed to hours, cooking normally

Pressure cookers are just speed slow cookers. Pretty cool.

It usually takes a lot of cooking to break down the gristle.
