Absolutely nothing gives you cancer except the genetic predispostion for developing cancers. Not smoking, and not food or drink. Any cell can mutate into a cancer cell, so any activity you do that increases the rate at which your cells replicate also increases the likelyhood one of those cells mutates. Only in that sense does any outside influence "give you cancer".

Now you understand cancer, so might as well smoke em if you got em.
