Got a pie from a local spot, a special with 'nduja, roasted pineapple, and basil. There's a bit too much char on the crust, even for a place that advertises as New Haven style, but the actual chew on it is great. The combination of 'nduja and pineapple is pretty inspired, just enough sweetness to cut the intense meaty/smokey/spicey/fatty sausage. All in all a solid 8/10.
