truly loving and being loved by another person? but in the realm of food, no.

>>21422381 (OP) Fruitcake, it lasts the longest. Cheesecake doesn't keep especially well. You might only get a week out of it before you throw it away.
>>21422684 How is coffee a bad pairing? The dark bitter roasted flavour of the coffee is a perfect accompaniment for the rich, sweet umami of a cheesecake.
This thread is the closest to a cheese thread currently, so I shall ask here: how concerning is it if havarti tastes and smells more like parmesan or aged gouda? has it gone bad?
>>21422381 (OP) I feel like I can only stand about 3-4 tablespoons of cheesecake before it just gets too rich and cloying. It's like eating straight butter or creamcheese. Like having a big bite of buttercream frosting.
I would rather have a fluffy light cake with a cheesecake-like filling as a layer rather than have a whole slice of straight cheesecake.
>>21422560 I made a key lime pie a few months ago and made the mistake of being lazy and using the store bought graham pie crust. It was the most vile gritty garbage I've ever had in a confection. Definitely make your own pie crust
>>21422730 >I've demolished one in 3 days (I no longer buy them because of this). I feel this, did similar with their croissant sandwich tray where I figured it be enough food to eat for a week but I finished it in a couple days
I only had cheesecake a couple times in my life and both times i couldn't even finish a slice and felt like puking. Did i just have really bad cheesecake or is something wrong me? Has it happened with anybody else?

My favorite cake is Tres Leches followed by tiramisu and angel food cake
Kvรฆfjordkake aka "Verdens Beste"/"World's Best" aka Britta cake. Might not look like much, but I'm telling you: You should try it. Make it and try it.
