>Scanning the pasta section at the store
>See can of marinara sauce for 2 bucks.
>"It can't be very good for only 2 dollars, but maybe..."
>Check ingredients. They're basic real food ingredients, with nothing weird added.
>Decide to give it a shot.
>Make pizza.
>The sauce is great.
>"Holy shit, I found a hidden gem. Only 2 dollars for great sauce."
>Return to store a week later
>Want to try the spicy marinara this time.
>It rings up for 8.49. EIGHT DOLLARS AND FORTY NINE CENTS
>Realize I've been bamboozled. That the regular marinara had been reduced in price, and the pasta is sauce is normally expensive.
>Remove the sauce on principle. No way in hell I'm paying 8.49 for a damn jar of sauce.
Too good to be true, sadly. I still got the other reduced price marinara though. I doubt any will be left by the time I return.
If they sold it for like 4 bucks, I would still not like it, but I would understand. However, 8 dollars for a jar is fucking robbery.
