There's a Hong Kong style cafe near me called Kong Sihk Tong and they have a ton of interesting pasta dishes.

My favorites are a baked pork chop / chicken chop with spaghetti in a spiced tomato sauce, and their take on the Japanese "spaghetti napolitan".

In Quebec pizzaghetti is usually just a personal pizza cut apart with a portion of spaghetti in the middle, bolognese or generic meat sauce. Not a pizza with spaghettis as a topping.

I always want to try San Franciso Garlic Noodles. It is my dream to ride the trains like a hobo across the country and eat the local delicacies along the way and get blackout drunk on gas station beer every night. One day I will do this journey.
>Garlic noodles, also known as San Francisco-style garlic noodles, are a popular dish that originated in San Francisco, California. Created by Chef Helene An in 1975, the dish is known for its rich garlic flavor and has become a signature offering at Thanh Long, a Vietnamese restaurant located in the city.
>The dish blends Vietnamese and Italian culinary techniques, featuring ingredients such as roasted garlic, AN's Secret Sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, butter, and Parmesan cheese.

is THIS where trailer trash hotdog and peas carbonara has its roots? peas are the common denominator in american carbonara. it can be made with any pork product, any pasta and any cheese sauce. lived with a japanese dude who was autistically obsessed with italian cuisine and loved to piss him off by telling him carbonara requires peas. i made a flavor blasted american version with bacon, peas, cream, egg yolks, pecorino and a bunch of black pepper and served it to him and he said it was really good and better than his even but i could get fucked for calling it carbonara. engineers are weird
