How the fuck do you make homemade butter cookies taste like this?

I just can't seem to do it, I've made homemade versions of oreos, obviously butter cookies are the easiest shit too, but how the fuck do you even replicate the taste of these?

People say they're just spekuloos cookies but I've followed recipes of that and they're not the same shit at all, are lotus biscoff cookies a product that can only be achieved through sloppified artificial flavourings? No matter what I try my homemade versions taste fine but they're not the better versions of these, these are so good but I am too prideful, I want to make MY version

I must have fucked up somehow because last two times I tried to make speculoos it just didn't taste... like that, that caramelized flavor the lotus ones have isn't there if you just make speculoos

if by harden you mean will it solidify in the fridge then yes and yes it can be used as you would normally use butter, I've done it for cookies before and it's absolutely worth it

Usually when you make butter cookies you wanna whip the butter with the sugar to make it more fluffy is what I meant, if browned butter can do that then that's great.

Even if it doesn't work to make it taste like biscoff it'll probably be very tasty for normal butter cookies anyway.

In fact it may even help me because the less water content the better, when I make butter cookies I like to shape them nicely with moulds and shit so they can have designs and shit.

An originally Belgian alternative to the speculaas we have here in the Netherlands.
Speculaas traditionally is made using a mixture of spices, which were pretty cheap in our colonial period, but unaffordable for our Belgian neighbours.
Speculoos is a different thing they came up with that uses some kind of syrup and just cinnamon instead of the spice mixture.

I answered a question that was asked and maybe it helps OP get closer to what he is looking for as well.
I am not going to make some /v/ level debate or yes/no contest out of this

The snacks are by far my favorite part of flying Delta. I especially like their snack mix with the rye chips.
