Maybe it's the locations near you but my local chipotle sucks and is over priced but the El Pollo Loco near me started doing a 5 dollar burrito bowl that's just as good as chipotle if not better

Their portions are too small for the prices they're asking. Their burritos are barely bigger than Taco Bell's and they still want you to pay five dollars more anyway.
Chipotle is, like, seven dollars more, but at least you get enough to have some leftovers afterwards.

Tried their chicken and it was alright. Unless i feel like Taco Bell i normally just go to my local taqueria which is basically the same price now

Growing up in BC Canada we had this place Taco Time, not sure if it still exists but i remember it being really good and when i finally tried Taco Bell years later i thought it was vastly inferior

There's like 3 of these within 5sq miles of me, and they all kind of suck
so the taco salads are pretty decent, but I've used coupons for the family meals and they aren't very good. The legs wings and thighs are dry and overcooked, hardly any meat on them. The beans are tasteless and the tortillas dissolve within a few hours. Only positive was the many many sauces they gave, but hardly worth hand constructing your own tacos if the only good part is the salsa verde
