What's your opinion of savory? Do you use it much in everyday cooking?

Yeah, I use ground savory in all of my cooking. It's my go-to all-around herb for my own ideosyncratic cooking style, like how Greeks use oregano or Mexicans cilantro

This. Savory is an herb. Savoury is a specific flavour profile. Umami refers to the fifth major taste category.

It's ok. Works well in a few recipes.
>Do you use it
Not after I used up my first purchase of savory. I'll generally just sub a mix of thyme and oregano, since I use those often enough to always keep them on hand.

I used it a few times. It was very underwhelming. It's one of those spices you add, but can't taste in the finished dish.
