In the West, we usually eat round loaves and buns, etc, but in all the East, it's all flat bread or different kinds. Why is that?

What the fuck is it with those people and what seems almost like a uniform. Jeans, polo shirts/buttoned down dress shirts and no shoes. It doesn’t matter what they’re doing too. Mechanic repairing a car battery? Dress shirts, jeans, no shoes. Working in a warehouse? Dress shirts, jeans, no shoes. Factory work, cooking, farming, white collar work….same exact fashion.

yeast from ale brewing was used to leaven bread, countries with a history of beer drinking typically seem to eat more leavened bread. so north west euro. muslim countries not having that cheap yeast stuck to flat breads and india use them as plates/cutlery.

also the english invented the sandwich, baking a loaf then cutting it into slices. all other breads when making a 'sandwich' use a whole 'bread' ie rolls or pita ect, no other bread i can think of where you only get part of the 'loaf'

Westerners tend to wear t-shirts (graphic or otherwise) and shorts when they go out, but this is also the usual clothing I see rapefugees and lower castes wearing when they're begging for food on TV. My guess is upper castes don't want to look like lower castes (it's almost always upper caste Indians that move abroad, lower castes are forced out of an opportunity to do so by the system in India), so they wear golf shirts to look more "upper class", and jeans are just fashionable in general so they all hivemind towards wearing jeans.

The bigger question is why they don't fully commit to the bit like hasidic jews if they don't want to look lower caste, I guess it looks too much like "britisher" clothing to them?
