Hi /ck/! What temperature should I set my oven to in order to melt this butter without shattering the glass?
Also can I pour liquid butter down the sink? I'm pretty sure it's not gonna harden after what it's been through.
PS, what is the best way to clean butter off of surfaces? I'm out of paper towels btw.
>>21429540which part?
The jug is pretty heat resistant, I already used my electric stove to get most of the butter out
>>21429538 (OP)there's no butter in the glass though?
>>21429597It's accumulated at the bottom and on the sides a bit. I can't reach down there
>>21429538 (OP)Put the bottle in a gently simmering (<180°F) waterbath.
Whatever the lowest temperature is will do just fine.
No
Just use soap and water before it congeals, or add a bit of vegetable oil and mix them together with a scrubbing tool before using soap and water again
>>21429599Just use a bit of soap and hot water
>>21429576>The jug is pretty heat resistantWon’t hot tap water be enough to melt the residual butter? That plus dish soap should get it all off
>>21429538 (OP)>it's not gonna harden after what it's been throughI need data covering this statement.
>>21430222maybe it's older than you, anon
Rinse it with hot water wtf r u doin anon?
