>>21430138You can make that argument about all the countries most renowned for food. China, Mexico, France, Italy, Nigeria, Vietnam, and India certainly. Perhaps you could argue some middle eastern cuisines are "unique," but they all seem like variations on the same themes which is a detriment.
Japan and Argentina perhaps might be the only countries with a distinct cuisine where regional variation seems minimal? But I suspect that has much to do with those countries geography.
