Reminder that 99.9% of Air Fryers are incredibly harmful to your health in the long term. Even the ones with stainless steel interiors have non-stick teflon linings.

Got any links to proof or evidence that would verify your claims?
You probably do, but this thread seems like bait without them.

>huge literature failing to find correlation between non-stick pan use and health conditions

Significantly safer than in a pan, where it is still very likely safe.

Question, OP, do you use microwave ovens?

Never, that's how they track you

No, but I did replace all the bulbs in my house with blacklights for the aesthetic

retard alert
Microwaves are mostly enamelled steel or stainless steel interiors though
I've come to the same conclusion as OP, you can't buy stainless buckets for airfryers and the internals are mostly some random chink plastic, it doesn't seem worth the risk when you can use an oven or just buy a fan forced toaster oven for the same price.
The only non-stick I have is for cooking eggs, and even then I basically turn it off not long after the eggs go in, put a lid on and let the latent heat cook it

I thought teflon was only a problem when it starts getting scratched off. There's no way for that to happen in an air fryer, is there? Especially if you're actually using any kind of baking paper on top, feels like it wouldn't be any different from an oven tray.

Teflon starts to break down and release harmful byproducts when it reaches 500 degrees F and starts smoking. You'd have to be retarded or negligent to let it get to the temperature where it becomes even remotely harmful.

I'm really sure all that precaution is necessary, anon. You're going to live longer than I am by being so careful.

Fucking schizo.

THe real problem has nothing to do with teflon itself, and everything to do with the solvent used to create teflon coatings. PFOAs are the problem, and avoiding teflon won't save you because it's already in the food supply and water.
