For me it's
Good Onion Rings>Good Sweet Potato Fries>Tater tots> BadSweet Potato Fries>Good fries>Bad Onion Rings
Tater tots are pretty much the same everywhere every time.

>Good Sweet Potato Fries
Isn't that an oxymoron? Sweet potato fries, by definition, aren't good. And that definition is "sweet potato: noun – the shittiest fucking root vegetable, ever; not good."
And saying "bad sweet potato fries" is redundant, like saying ATM machine because they're always bad.

This. They're made even worse when places dust them in salted cinnamon-sugar instead of plain salt.

they can be good when they're actually crispy. sweet potatoes themselves don't really crisp up unless dehydrated so they need to be battered/breaded/coated in starch. but it's easy for them to come out soggy, worse than bad regular fries.

onion rings are definitely my favorite though.

Tots are the same because almost everywhere that serves them is just using Syscos/generic frozen store brand. They are a pain in the ass to make without industrial equipment. It's the horseshoe theory of foods, a restaurant serving them is either a slopper or they have highly proficient chefs with nice equipment in the kitchen.

Good onion rings are so fucking hard to get.
It's like sticking the landing on a love triangle subplot.
It's amazing when done right but a bad onion ring is some of the vilest slop you can eat.
