So I happen to have the oppertunity to be on vacation and down the street from a place that served this, made table side, on Monday nights. So im definitely thinking of going.
Any of you guys ever have it? What are your thoughts?

Food should be eaten not gawked at.
This dish will be mediocre at best and heavily overpriced.
You -could- just pay a chef for a good meal. Instead you are going to Chuck-E-Cheese.
Have fun, you child.

Just trying to cultivate memories, you know? I made a lobster pasta with lobsters i cooked and a lobster stock made from their shells. I can cook nice stuff, im just looking for a nice experience. Spend some quality bonding time with someone
Though, you did give your thoughts, however pretentious i may feel they are, so thank you. I appreciate it

From what I've heard, it's mostly a gimmick, but if you're on vacation and want to see what it's like, why not? It's just like any other tableside service.

>these prices
It is entirely possible to cultivate memories without being outright scammed. Wouldnโ€™t taking a pasta-making class be far more memorable? I remember doing a salsa class in Mexico when I was a teenager, and I sure as hell donโ€™t remember any of the food I paid to eat while I was there.

Im already versed in those things, and im with a 9 year old. Sure, just spectacle, but one ill never do again. Lord knows there's other stuff on the menu that id like more.
Hell id be happier to do it if they made it like a prima vera

Also, its not that much more than any other reputable Italian place in my area. Yeah, location will drive the price up cuz it can in this case. But its 100 feet from the beach.. is what it is
