It has its uses.

Burgers, grilled cheese, and MOST IMPORTANTLY mac n cheese. It pretty much excels in any situation where it's melted.

Truthfully, *everyone* likes American cheese (if used properly); it's just meme at this point to knock it.

Yes, we know it's not real cheese (or not fully cheese would be a better way to put it). We know there's better cheese out there (particularly if you aren't gonna melt it). But American still has its place.

I think britbongs have just convinced themselves that it's the only cheese America eats, which we basically have all the fancy cheese Euros do (except most are made in Wisconsin).

Obsessed with the Bongs.

You do realise that we are not all british right and we still laugh at American 'cheese'.

it smells like the packaging of a toy, it tastes like sucking lego bricks, it also melts like a sandwich bag, and on top of all that
it tastes worse than the cheapest sawdust sprinkled preshredded cheese in the local corner fridge

There's literally no reason to hate it.
Assuming you aren't buying imitation cheese (the actual shitty one) there's no issue.

>it's a lowIQ poster's post
Imitation cheese product and processed cheese (curds + sodium citrate) are two wildly different products that your LowIQ nigger brains struggle to separate.
Because you (and your parents) are barely above actual retards in terms of intelligence, you fail to understand these distinctions.

The -exact- consumers chink knockoff products are for. :^)

oftentimes these cheeseburger restaurants use what seems, looks, they claim to be “American” cheese. in actuality, they’re using Jamaican cheese. look closely

It's a dominant marketing strategy. There is no reason to ever not have it on your packaging, because it not being there now implicates your cheese as being not made with real dairy. Plus even here there's talking points that american cheese isn't actual cheese in the public consciousness.
I personally have never seen cheese without that stamp.
