What's your favorite recipe for trottole paste?

I made a bunch of it and put it in pyrex containers in the fridge the other day (made of wheat/flour pasta not of spinach).

Any recommended recipes? Preferably with meatballs and not with shrimp...Shrimp keeps getting more and more expensive.

mornay sauce is optimal; try with lots of cheese trottolle has lots of surface so it holds lots of sticky sause.

Interesting, should I pick some of this up? Never had but it looks like Kroger carries it (under one of their store brands).

Yes. It is a sauce monster if you are using something that is not super creamy or prone to adhere to extra starch.

Massive surface area + if you make a baked pasta dish like traditional ziti w/ trottole, you will find that it acts more like an internal binder so you don't need ricotta etc
