i will never understand how these stay in business
its always the fattest people going there and eating an entire day's worth of food

I thought they were comfy when I was hungover, cheaper than dennys or ihop

The ones in my area closed during covid and never reopened. My mom loved going there and yeah she was fat and diabetic and I'm not exactly skinny myself.

Im just gonna take this moment to say I miss Souplantation.

I ate a bunch of hot wings at a Golden Corral once and then I got a massive nosebleed so I was just stuck in the bathroom dripping blood into the toilet from my nose with my mouth burning because I didn't have a chance to get a drink

Ultimately the food they put out isn't that expensive and no matter how much you eat of anything it's basically guaranteed that you won't be costing them money.

There's an ancient pasta that went around BBSes and Usenet in the 90s about a guy who ate too much at Golden Corral, shit his clothes, and had to get the manager to bring him trash bags in the restroom to fashion into clothes to wear to get to his car and of course one to put his shit coated clothes into. Haven't been able to find it in decades.
