The sausage rolls are great. Everything else isn't bad either. The donuts are pure shit compared to what we have in the states.

I've noticed that alot of the stuff that brits have adapted for their population from the US are usually pretty bad. Generally though I feel like British food has been maligned. It's no worse than any other continental European cuisine.

sausage rolls and meat pies are fire. americans are totally missing out on savory pastry cause all we have are chicken pot pies which most people only ever eat in shitty frozen form. theres also empanadas which are great but not usually eaten by whites

My town had an independent bakers that tasted way better, but everything cost twice as much, the shop would close at like 1pm, and all the good stuff would be sold out long before that.
