>>21443221 (OP)>What has been your worst experience at a restaurant dealing with service? Service is not usually shitty for me. I dress well and have a friendly presence. If you judge by appearances or ability to be a good guest, I wine. It's a really rare thing, in other words, and indicates a problem restaurant that might soon close for other internal reasons, anyway. It's a sign. I have been ignored for looking German a few times, but once they visit the table and converse in English or Spanish, that low-tipping cuture issue is found to be false.
There are some bakeries in Miami that have notoriously bad service if you even look Anglo. Don Pan. All of them. But, that's okay. They miss out on my ample dollar, high social media review ratings and repeat business, and there's enough competition to ignore them.
My dad ran an airline, and I grew up within customer service circles and hospitality my whole life. I really have nothing bad to say about service most of my life. It's always more of a surprise how great the service can be day to day. People pleasantly surprise me. It's hit or miss when traveling, depends on the education of those around you.
