My proof is that I have been aerobically fit, forever, and active, but indeed chubby. I have had a cardiac cath, ultrasounds of my carotids, all perfectly clear, as well as fantastic bloodwork, and every other test known to man.
My blood sugar and organs are tip top. All 4 grandparents lived until nearly 100. One of my grandmothers eschewed nearly all exercise other than a dog walk, played cards with friends instead, smoked, and had a bowl of ice cream daily at bedtime, her entire life. She had a bran muffin for breakfast, with cane syrup on it, and sipped her carafe of coffee until noon. She had 3 southern vegetables on her plate with her steak or seafood most nights or dined out. She had not a single cavity. If I were to write a book, I'd suggest that the secret to longevity is 1-2 drinks a couple times a week, a very diverse diet, keeping up with your checkups and doctors, including your dentist, and whatever movement you enjoy though. Travel is my hobby, and i get to hike and pound city sidewalks equally. The rest is good genes and knowing your own risks. I do every scheduled test for my age.
