not disgusting but I used to catch a lot of shit in college for my weekend breakfast, which was:
>a tin of chopped tomatoes, juice mostly drained (drank separately)
>a lump of frozen shredded spinach
>spoon of chipotle paste, half a sachet of bonito powder, salt & pepper
>a fistful of frozen prawns
i'd dump the tomatoes, spinach, and seasoning in a shitty on-off rice cooker, let it boil, then cook the prawns in that. eat it with a tortilla, tearing off pieces and using them like spoons. bon appetit.

OP here. I forgot to share my recipe:
its not a recipe at all. I'm poor. I only have a pan. I'm poor. I have instant noodles and cheap baguette (because im poor). sometimes I usually have leftover rice.
I crush the cold rice with my hands > pour oil to pan > flatten a layer of rice to fry it while it's still sticky > flip once crunchy

instant noodles: dry the noodles > add seasoning packets (also other stuff such as garlic and satay)

bread > just grill it for a bit

I then slice the bread, put the noodles in and slide the rice in too. I eat it all in 5 minutes. sometimes I cry doing this

Not for soiboys - snap one frozen burrito into halves (while in the wrap, smack against kitchen countertop edge for best results)
-place both halves side-by-side flat into medium sized microwave safe bowl (the right bowl will just let the edges of both halves sit about an inch from the bottom)
-whisk 3-4 eggs in another bowl, then pour onto burrito halves
-cook 5min in 1000w microwave
tada, a breakfast burrito bowl.

You start with a slurpie from 7-11, drink half of it. At this point add in some sugar packets (about 10), a red bull, half of a 20 ounce bottle of mountain dew (drink the rest), caffeine tablets (all of them) of your choice, and enjoy.

>fry up ground beef like you would to make tacos, drain grease, add mexican spices.
I like a bit of black pepper, cumin, paprika, ketchup, cayenne, onion powder, mustard powder. If you think ketchup is gross you can maybe fry some tomatos in at the end, or grill some onions with it too but use a tiny bit of vinegar diluted w water and mix that into the spices and beef I think its good.
>boil shell or elbow macaroni, drain
>combine in a bowl
>add a bunch of shredded cheddar or fiesta blend

It's kind of similair to how that one place has spaghetti topped with chilli and loads of shredded cheese, except instead of chilli its taco meat. The shell pasta allows the ground beef and cheese to perfectly inhabit the shelled openings.

I think most my foods I'd be willing to serve others without much shame, but there are exceptions:
- I call them "dumblings": Mix flour, dried yeast and a tsp of sugar with water, then leave that bowl in a fridge overnight. If in a hurry you can use it as is. Tear off mouth sized chunks and throw them into boiling water, preferably a flavorful soup, but pasta water of you have too little pasta or just some boiling pot works fine too. Do not roll the dough, uneven edges from tearing are good here. If it's just water add some broth powder. Eat with whatever sauce you made, if you made none, just put some butter over them so it melts and add a little salt. Kind of like dumplings but misshapen and without filling. These range from sad and unfitting (with pasta), to socially acceptable (in soup) to actually impressive (if fried with some sage and brown butter how you would with gnocchi).
- fried egg with red fruit jam (usually strawberry)
- There used to be a pizza sold that was refrigerated not frozen. I'd heat that in the microwave which resulted in a gummy sort of texture not unlike gummy bears. As a result you had to fight the pizza when eating it, somewhat like a softer jerky. I liked that for a bit, but thankfully that pizza isn't sold anymore so I haven't indulged in years.

I occasionally throw in some potato, and usually have a baby spinach/rocket combo with it. It's not disgusting, but the idea of "cook a cube of mince in an air fryer on it's own" is abnormal to regular society.

Meal prep Half-assed eggs. Cooking eggs every day would take at least 5 minutes (def an underestimate, but I don't remember exact) to get out supplies, cook, then clean the pan. Instead, now I cook around 2 dozen eggs all at once in an instapot on saute mode.
>ingredients
Eggs, green onions, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, msg, worchestershire, asian chili crisp in oil, soy sauce.

There's some nuance to how to put it all in, but basically it all goes into the pot, and I once in a while I come back to give em a stir (im doing other kitchen stuff in the meantime). Overall takes like 20 minutes for ingredients, cooking time, moving into container, and cleaning the pot. Scrambled eggs for the entire week.

Two 1lb bags of pre blended frozen vegetables, usually the stir fry blends from any supermarket. I also add a little of the mixed vegetable blends that include peas, carrots, and corn. That's it. This is my daily breakfast on workdays. I avoid meat as it makes my metabolism too slow.

Then while on the clock, one protein bar and a couple of nutrigrain bars because I do manual labor and my body responds very well to quick carbs. The sugar gives me the push I need to push through the worst parts of my job, make quick decisions, and sometimes finish early.
