Bean, rice and cheese tacos
I was gonna make beans from scratch but got lazy. Rice turned out good though

That was hours ago. I steamed a dab with ginger and garlic-chives (rather than scallions). I do flatfish with ginger and scallion all the time but I've never cooked dab and didn't have scallions. Looked like flounder so I treated it like flounder and found it generally sweeter, less "fishy" and more firm-fleshed, somewhere between flounder and halibut in both taste and texture. We had it with stir fried mini peppers, yu choy (or gailan? I can't remember the difference) in garlic oyster sauce, marinated cucumber and saltcabbage fried rice. Was good.

Would, wish it had some animal protein tho, some chicken maybe.

Sounds good, although I don't think I've ever had flounder.
