Sucks when you’re making something and you realize partway through that it’s not going to turn out as good as you thought but you still have to finish it.

Ive also failed many a fried fritter and disappointingly ate them all the same. The taste of oil would remain in my tastebuds to make fun of me throughout the day.
But at least you tried and learned something for next time.
