burnt eggs taste like wet dog, but they're chinese so maybe they did it on purpose

I've only ever had Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with the noodles in it, but I'd definitely give that a try.

At first it wasn't bad. Eggs cooked to the point where they get polymerized and burnt like that are nasty. Then they started slathering sauce over everything and I clicked out. Nasty.

I never really cared for okonomiyaki. The sauce is full of sugar and spices, and is pretty much the only ingredient that makes it taste good.

normal osaka okonomiyaki is ingredients mixed in a batter and cooked as a mixture. hiroshima style okonomiyaki is instead separate ingredients layered on top of each other cooked with noodles. tokyo also have a version called monjayaki which is like okonomiyaki but with a runnier and chewy better. thanks for listening to my ted talk
