Ever since I got a mouthful of that, I am now a slicer. I eat one for lunch in my car and a biting into a whole apple has a tendency to spray sticky juices on my dash and windshield, so slicing is win-win.

What do you do if your slicer/corer becomes dull? It's not like they're more than slightly sharp to begin with but over time they do dull enough to be annoying. It doesn't look like it could be resharpened. Just toss and buy a new one?
