I wouldn't say it is for me and my family, anyway, but if you don't mind frozen dough or pastry, you can make it ahead of time up to the point of baking, freeze them individually then thaw and proof the night before and bake that morning. We lack the freezer space for as many croissants as would be worth the time and labour so that's not doable for me. Also, it's, like, 30 minutes of work spread across two days, so there's that aspect, too.
