The amount of creme filling in both of those is pretty grim

I can't go back to regular sandwich cookies after becoming accustomed to Double Stuff, they have the perfect sweetness and balance of soft center/crunchy exterior texture. The plain ones seem too anemic to the point you might as well good just get chocolate wafers otherwise.

iinm, they're still available industrially (as-in you have to work in the industry to get them) but they're much larger than "normal" Oreo cookies.
I know a barstaurant that uses those iron pupu platter things as tableside firepits for s'mores in the winter months and it comes with the gihugic marshmallows, enormous graham crackers and gargantuan Oreos for you to make them yourself. I'm surprised they haven't been sued into oblivion yet after some dumb fuck burns himself or some shit.
