the only ones that are always bad regardless of location and staff are kfc and white castle
it seems like you are big into the shakes, though, and i've never had any and i would judge the place based on it
but it amazes me that people rate DQ so poorly when in my experience DQ makes an excellent burger

i have had a shake from all of these places and i can tell you objectively that chick-fil-a makes them the best. they're always cold and the right amount of thick without being a weird gross paste

i was meeting with a lawyer for some bullshit and outside his office was a dq and we went there and i was blown away by how good the burger was, and this is as i am in the most stressful situation of being sued and wondering about suicide
it all worked out and this was 20 years ago so maybe the DQ quality has gone down, but damn it was a surprisingly good burger
