I remember going on a road trip a decade ago. Me and some friends stop at this diner. Literally hundreds of miles away from home.

Order a burger. Best goddamn burger of my life. And the fucked up thing is the whole thing is good, but the tomato is the best part. I have never tasted a tomato like that before or since. I've grown my own. Gotten fantastic tomatoes from the nice old lady down the street. None compare, no matter how much better they are than storebought bland shits.

I will be chasing that perfect tomato for the rest of my life. I even made a trip back there and the place was closed.

These are the 2 brands I will buy of tomatoes when flavor matters to my intended recipe. So, it might be a perfect BLT or a flavorful caprese salad, but these 2 tomatoes were actually selectively bred to be most flavorful and also make it to market without over ripening. There will be other seeds that only you can grow at home, heirlooms and such.
