I am perfectly willing to believe that processes preserved meat has a strong link to cancer, but putting natural red meat as just slightly less likely to cause cancer makes me doubt the entire infographic
Nutrition is a fake science and nutrition "experts" are either shills or quacks. I've never seen a nutrition study with acceptable methodology

That is incorrect sir. Sugar is a poison that contributes to the development of cancers.

It's also strange to put all processed meat in the same category when there are levels to it. Something like a hotdog where it's low quality meat, fillers and other crap mixed into a pink paste then formed into a tube shape? Sure, I can believe that's a carcinogen. Likewise for something like salami where we know the curing process produces carcinogens.

But what about a natural sausage that's just pork mince, spices and rusk inside a natural casing? I don't see why that would be harmful.

Meats naturally contain small amounts of glucose, a simple sugar, as part of its energy metabolism. If you want to focus on the meats we consume here in this country, it should be processed meats with added sugars. Those small amounts that are naturally occurring in the organism should be considered but not what we should be focusing on at this time.

In mice and rats.
The easiest way to "prove" something dangerous you arbitrarly wanna prove as dangerous.
Whenever you perform ANY kind of process on food that invovles heat, be it cooking, baking, smoking new substances form that are harmful to lab rodents in high doses. Like with smoke byproducts here.
Since rats and mice never learned to make a camp fire they OF COURSE react much more strongly to such substances than the human species whos unique trait after all is the usage of FIRE to cook his food, which followed him all through his evolution ever since he appeared many ten thousand years ago.

No evidence of this. The panel was full of ideological vegtards who cherry picked evidence. The only normal panel member wrote a scathing critique of it here
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7015455/
>Despite claims by the World Health Organization (WHO) that eating processed meat causes colon cancer and red meat probably causes cancer, the observational data used to support the claims are weak, confounded by multiple unmeasured factors, and not supported by other types of research needed for such a conclusion. Although intervention studies are designed to test the validity of associations found in observational studies, two interventions of low-fat, low-meat diets in volunteers that failed to find a benefit on cancer were not considered in the WHO decision.

Correct. If you correlate those findings with these it can help paint a better picture of the issues we are facing in out society.

Wood smoke is mostly creosote and historically that shit was used to prevent railroad tie and the burried part of power poles from rotting.

But Anon, those have totally different bodies from us! But they are not a different race, because all humans are equal! They just have a very different adapted body, in an equal to us non-racey kinda way of course! But we are different to them in that to us it is harmful, because OUR ancestors never lived mostly from meat and other animal products! But we are still equal! Yup.

how does red meat consumption correlate with things like smoking, drinking, fast food and sugar consumption and being a fatass?
also I can believe that modern industrial meat products are bad because the animals are sick, get pumped full of medications and get fed with shit feed.
hunt or raise your own animals and its one of the best things you can eat.

yeah, meat probably isn't on the level of alcohol/smoking in terms of causing cancer. but as we've seen in the recent "why don't adults eat vegetables?" thread and the amount of distilled asshurt it accumulated, many manchildren here will just see this as justification to continue indulging in and espousing their shitty eating habits.

what an impressively seething strawman if i've ever seen one. i can tell you're an american that probably doesn't get even a fraction of the exercise that the average mongolian does.
