/ck/ I'm a retarded zoomer and I want to lose weight. How do I make steak and eggs taste really good? Right now, I just stick a frozen sirloin steak into an air fryer, and it comes out cooked unevenly, and the attempted omelette I try to make often breaks apart and sticks to my pan (not teflon, least I don't think so. Getting new cast iron pans). Teach me how to COOK

Man like just keep doing it. Specific articles of advice will serve you very minimally compared to the resolve of having a telos. The only idea of any use on this question that we can impart to you is “experiment, learn, improve.” That being said don’t buy a bunch of shit, try to be as minimalistic as possible until you’re good enough at cooking to know what you actually need and what is just taking up space. Giving your food meaning helps too btw. Start exercising a bit more. Meditation can help too; you’ll eventually realize that fried foods and very sugary foods slow you down mentally and physically (they’re relaxing in some sense as a result), but that they’re not conducive to a life with ambition and purpose. Keep trying man, losing weight is tough, but find a why and learn to trust yourself, you’ll be fine.

Defrost the stake bro. Cook it in a cast iron or stainless steel. Go on youtube and look how steak is cooked, I learned to cook exclusively from youtube videos when I started living alone.

I'm going to put you on the ultimate weight loss plan: eat whatever you want, just eat less of it.
Don't be a ketard. The whole "you can eat steak and eggs" thing is to make the restrictions of keto sound like a fun diet to people who already like steak and eggs, it's not actually good for you to eat that stuff (eggs are fine though, and there's a million great, non-boring ways to make them). Diets are stupid. You improve your nutrition by finding decently healthy foods you like to both eat and make, not memeing yourself into consuming the perfect meal. Carbs won't kill you, and in fact they play a pretty important role in triggering satiation responses.
And obviously you should be exercising. Eating less feels bad. Exercising feels good (eventually). It's easier to do something that feels good, and stick with it.

Well you should definitely eat after a workout if you're aiming to gain and retain muscle fiber. But yeah, the optimal would be to increase exercise without increasing calorie intake.

try to sear each side evenly
if you start from frozen its easier to sear the outsides without fucking up the inside

If that's your breakfast htne you've got two problems, OP.
1)Steak and eggs just tastes great and you have to work hard to fuck it up(which you did)
2)If that's your breakfast then don't eat fucking steak and eggs for breakfast if you want to lose weight. Eat eggs. Some fat retard will reply to me saying you can lose weight while adding steak to your meals and I'll tell him that it's easier if you don't add the steak and you wouldn't be making this thread if you weren't having trouble losing weight with your current diet that includes the steak.

Anon there's like a million YouTube videos showing you how to make a good steak at home. Surely you tried watching that before asking 4chan?
If you want to lose weight, you need more of a lifestyle change than just making breakfast. Track your calorie consumption with an app and make a point to exercise or at least walk instead of drive for daily errands.

Flash sear both sides of one small, thick steak. Then finish in oven. Salt, pepper, that's it. Garlic powder if it's a bad cut of meat. One pound is too much. OMAD is a meme, eat one boiled or scrambled egg in the morning right when you wake up. Then don't eat a goddamn thing until around 8 or 9pm. Don't drink anything containing sugar. Water or iced tea only. No sugar. No corn syrup. Water or iced tea. That's it.
