My gyros wraps always come out bitter. Unpleasantly bitter.

It makes sense, the cucumber is somewhat bitter, the lemon is very bitter, the low-fat yoghurt is somewhat bitter. But I still feel like the end product isn’t intended to taste as bitter as it does.

Am I missing some secret ingredient only Socrates knew about?

>the cucumber is somewhat bitter
a little bit

>the lemon is very bitter
this should just be acidic unless you're eating the pith

>the low-fat yoghurt is somewhat bitter
this should also be acidic. low-fat yogurt tastes kind of weird though, almost a bit chalky. i would use regular whole fat yogurt.

To recap:
>can't make a gyro
>can't tell bitter from sour
>is unfamiliar with the work of Socrates

>low-fat yoghurt
That's your mistake. You need 10 % fat yogurt.

This. Lemons aren't bitter.

I think the main thing OP's gyro is missing is the hemlock

Are you sure you aren't confusing tart for bitter? I don't think I've had a bitter cucumber unless it was past its prime, and lemon and yogurt aren't bitter

when I look at picrel I can barely imagine how minuscule the difference in calories between using regular vs low-fat yogurt must be.
You're already pigging out on delicious pita bread and fatty pork. Might as well go all in, bro.

It's a coinflip whether this is an AI generated chatbot thread or just a general ESL who doesn't know what words mean. Ever since the hack threads like this are all over, it's really weird.
